Course summary
This course is designed to provide a platform for you to enter the varied and exciting field of Sports Coaching. The course aims to introduce you to the theory and practical application of sports coaching in various environments and is designed to assist you into a wide range of careers, but with a particular focus on PE Teacher, sports coaching, fitness development and healthy lifestyle development. This course enables you to develop the independent learning capabilities that equip you for future employment, as well as academic achievement. You are taught through a combination of interactive workshops, seminars and practical activities. Assessment is through coursework, group discussion and individual and group presentations.
