Course summary
Make your mark in a multi-billion-pound industry at a university with a proud heritage in gaming.As well as a solid and accredited foundation in computer science, you’ll learn the art of games programming. Working with the latest industry technology, you’ll focus on a combination of core and optional modules including AI, graphics and games architecture to ensure you’re at the top of your game when you embark on your career.You’ll have the chance to take part in gaming competitions, hackathons and international gaming events as well as benefiting from our close industry ties with companies like EA, Sony and Black Marble.Plus, you’ll embed your new knowledge in a year-long industry placement, gaining hands-on experience and professional connections that set you apart in the job market. Our students have completed placements with top companies like Unity, Black Marble and IBM.
