Course summary

This course is designed for candidates who have not studied the prerequisite subjects required for first-year entry, those who have not met entrance requirements due to adverse circumstances or sporting commitments, as well as mature students returning to education or care leavers.Successful completion of the foundation year enables progression to the first year of a chosen degree course, provided relevant progression criteria are met. Students who complete the course are eligible to progress onto any of the degree programmes offered by the Department of Computer Science.The foundation course is delivered in-house by Loughborough University staff. Students are full members of the University and have full access to the Students’ Union, clubs, societies, sports facilities, and student support services.
