Course summary
Computer systems and the related hardware are at the core of the modern world and form the basis of all our technology systems. This course will provide you a solid grounding that covers all key aspects of the discipline for computer systems. This degree allows graduates to pursue a wide range of engineering interests and career choices with expertise in computer system design, digital electronics, hardware/software development, and telecommunication. This degree offers a unique set of interdisciplinary skills that employers are crying out for.During the course you will gain extensive practical experience and have good access to interactive computer services and research labs. You will learn how to design, realise, and analyse computer systems and products. The course covers the core modules of computer architecture, electronics, circuits, and signal processing. This degree has been accredited by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) under licence from the UK regulator, the Engineering Council. Accreditation is a mark of assurance that the degree meets the standards set by the Engineering Council UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence (UK-SPEC). An accredited degree will provide you with the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills for eventual registration as an Incorporated (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng). Some employers recruit preferentially from accredited degrees, and an accredited degree is likely to be recognised by other countries that are signatories to international accords.Couse modules:For more information please visit the course description on the Bangor University website.https://www.bangor.ac.uk/computer-science-and-electronic-engineering/undergraduate-modules/H612
