Globally recognised for its quality and expert delivery, our MSc Construction Project Management is an extremely popular course which is well respected in industry. The themes of sustainability, enterprise, employability and internationalisation are central to the programme of study and by focusing on these specialised areas, you’ll become fully equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for forging rewarding and successful careers. The development of leadership and team building skills is a cornerstone of the course: you’ll attend a bespoke residential workshop hosted by an internationally renowned management development company situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park.
Learning Environment and Assessment
Knowledge and understanding are assessed through written assignments, the research dissertation and oral presentations. The assessments are all designed for you to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding and meet the various module learning outcomes. Within each module the assessment methods are designed to contribute to your continuing development. Feedback is provided on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing periodic evaluations of progress.
Opportunities

This course helps to hone and develop construction project management skills in a manner that enhances a graduate’s ability and confidence. By attaining this higher level of qualification, our graduates can forge a more diverse and fulfilling career path. Since the course’s inception, our part-time students have witnessed an immediate positive impact within the workplace, whilst our full-time students have found that the MSc qualification has opened many new doorways of opportunity. You will also gain PGDip and PGCert awards in this course.
PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION
This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for a Chartered Engineer (CEng) for candidates who have already acquired a partial CEng accredited undergraduate first degree.
It should be noted that candidates completing the MSc who hold an underpinning accredited IEng degree or a nonaccredited bachelor degree will need to apply for an academic assessment to determine whether they will meet the educational base for CEng registration.
