Learning in a studio environment that mirrors real industry practice, you’ll plan and develop creative campaigns that respond to mock briefs set by partner agencies for brands such as Peloton, Starbucks and Seasalt. The learning by doing approach of the Creative Advertising degree means that you’ll graduate with a standout portfolio to showcase your ideas and strategic thinking. You’ll have the chance to interact with guest speakers and network with industry professionals who often offer paid internship opportunities to our top students. Students have interned at global agencies, including Sky Creative, Ogilvy London, McCann Central, Accenture Song, Iris Worldwide, and We are Social. From the first year of the course, you’ll have the opportunity to visit advertising and marketing agencies across the UK and showcase your work at industry awards like D&AD New Blood in London and the South West Design + Digital Student Awards in Bristol. You will:Develop technical, design thinking and production skills in your chosen specialismLearn teamwork, leadership and project management skills through a variety of learning environmentsDevelop critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills through the development of unique and innovative projectsComplete your chosen degree over a four-year periodBuild a portfolio of work that showcases your skills in advertising, brand strategy and marketing.
