Course summary

For this MPhil/PhD you will produce a full-length creative work (a novel, collection of poems, or play) and an accompanying work of critical reflection.Your PhD will centre on a specific research area and topic that you will propose as part of your application form. With guidance from your supervisory team, you will select areas to study that align with your project. You may also attend extra classes or participate in training events to support your research. This can include seminars and workshops provided by your Research Institute and your Research Centre. You will work with experts in your chosen field who will provide ongoing support and guidance and you will be a member of our research community by being affiliated to one of our established Research Centres within the Institute of Inclusive Communities and Environments.
