The Criminology and Criminal Justice programme has been developed to provide students with the opportunity to explore causes, consequences and response to crime. Studies will allow students to explore many aspects of criminality, from youth crime, serious and organised crime, crime and vulnerability and the impact various social divisions can have on offending behaviour.

What you will learn

The proposed programme will attract students who are fascinated by both Criminology and Criminal Justice as it aims to help prepare students to enter the wider criminal justice professions such as probation, the prison service, and the Ministry of Justice.

Assessment Methods

The course will be assessed by a mixture of written coursework, project work, presentations and exams.
