Course summary
Understand how the criminal justice system, the law and legal institutions work in this joint programme run by the School of Policy & Global Affairs and The City Law School. The course will provide you with a sound grounding in criminal justice and law that will enable you to pursue various criminal justice and social-legal careers.
The three-year undergraduate BSc in Criminology and Law is a joint programme run by the School of Policy and Global Affairs (SPGA) and The City Law School. As such, it harnesses the reputation of The City Law School, notable for its high level of scholarship and academic rigour with the research excellence of the Department of Sociology and Criminology.
The BSc in Criminology and Law is uniquely positioned to provide you with a socio-legal degree that encompasses the already excellent portfolio of modules on offer in both Schools, including valuable methodological training. This programme is therefore particularly relevant for those students who are interested in pursuing careers in legal and criminal justice/social policy, research and socio-legal work.
