Course summary

Why Dance (Level 6)?

Our Dance (Level 6) course enables you build on your existing experience and qualifications, such as a Diploma of Higher Education, HND or Foundation Degree, to achieve a full BA honours degree. You'll explore a range of vocational styles and industry sectors both practically and theoretically, with research and analysis underpinning all your experiential learning. Drawing on the expertise of our experienced academic team, you'll refine your technique, performance and choreography skills in our purpose-built performing arts centre, equipped with harlequin sprung-floor dance studios with full lighting rigs, a multimedia suite and a devising studio. Taking advantage of our strong industry links, you'll have opportunities to work with professional choreographers and dancers and take part in workshops with renowned organisations such as Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company, 2Faced Dance, Alleyne Dance, Strike a Light, The Roses (Tewkesbury) and The Everyman (Cheltenham). By graduation, you'll have built the knowledge, skills and contacts you need for a successful dance career.
