The first three years will give you a solid understanding of the business context of AI and data science applications, and a well-grounded knowledge of the principles and methods from mathematics, statistics and computer science. The final year will further strengthen your independent critical thinking, problem solving, professional and research skills. You will focus on advanced technical topics, including time series models, cloud computing; specialised subjects such as international finance, international business and multinational accounting; as well as on your personal development, with modules like Creativity and Personal Development, and Accounting for Decision Making. Finally, you will undertake a substantial research project, analysing current issues in industry or research, under the guidance of an experienced supervisor. With large amounts of data being continuously generated and stored by small and large businesses alike, the demand for highly skilled professionals to manage them is ever growing.
