Course summary

The Bartlett Development Planning Unit conducts world-leading research and postgraduate teaching that helps to build the capacity of national governments, local authorities, NGOs, aid agencies and businesses working towards socially just and sustainable development in the Global South. Our MPhil/PhD programme is partially taught in the first year, during which new MPhils will attend weekly MPhil seminars, as well as enrol in DPU MSc modules, all designed to strengthen the student's PhD work and eventual thesis, as well as assist in acclimating to the DPU research environment.
