Course summary
The programme is designed for nurses and medical practitioners, building on their experience of working with women by applying additional advanced practice skills in diagnostic outpatient hysteroscopy and therapeutic management.Teaching and learning comprises of lectures, seminars, tutorials, clinical placement hours and directed studies. You will work through a series of scenarios using a Problem Based Learning (PBL) ethos and acquire information to advance their practice and provide a safe hysteroscopy service.Assessments include a 30 minute examination, an audit of practice, a clinical competency logbook and a portfolio including case studies.
