Course summary
This course will provide you with the high level technical and creative skills required by employers within the creative and digital sector. Driven by content production, the converging industries of Film, high end TV, Games and Animation are some of the fastest growing and commercially successful in the UK. You will be exposed to cutting edge technologies from DSLRs to Cinema Cameras. Motion Capture to Robotics. Audio capture to audio design and a full range of post production and SFX tools.
During the degree students will have an unparalleled opportunity to collaborate with dedicated crafts people and makers from across the creative industries. You will be taught by a team of highly qualified professional practitioners and current industry figures including award winning directors, producers, designers, actors, writers, animators, editors and composers. With our digital technology facility students will be able to engage with state of the art spaces and equipment including a 300sqm Film Studio, a dedicated Green Screen Studio, professional standard postproduction facilities, creative labs, Mac and PC suites and Recording Studios. Our BSc Digital Film Technologies programme can open the door to careers in: Television, Film, Games, Special Effects, Animation, Radio, Advertising and Teaching.
