About this course

Digital media defines our times and helps shape our lives. This course will help prepare you for a career in this exciting, ever-changing sector.You’ll gain an understanding of the fundamentals of media, 2D and 3D computer graphics, programming, motion graphics, UX design and visual effects.You’ll create sophisticated media-based products, such as animations, moving graphics, compositing, 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, interactive web content and filming. Through option modules, you’ll be able to pursue your chosen specialism.

A level : BBC - ABB

One media or media-related subject(s) preferred such as Art or Design, Computing, Engineering, Graphic Design, Maths, Media (not Media Studies), Photography or Technology. Should none of these be studied, an online portfolio demonstrating digital media based work using software such as Photoshop, Premier or any 3D application such as Sketup, Blender or Maya would be requested.General Studies not accepted.
