You’ll learn the fundamentals of DJ performance, audio production, sound design and mixing, all while shaping your own unique style and sound as you experiment across genres and techniques.From day one of your Cert HE in DJing, you’ll start exploring industry-standard gear and software – including vinyl turntables, CDJs, digital audio workstations (DAWs) including Ableton Live and Logic Pro and visual performance tools for VJs.Whether you’re passionate about EDM, hip-hop, drum and bass, techno, or something else entirely, this DJ course gives you the freedom to follow your musical instincts, while gaining the practical skills to back them up. From beatmatching and set curation to lighting and visual FX, you’ll cover the entire DJ journey from start to finish, culminating in the design, planning and delivery of a live DJ performance event organised by you in a London venue.With expert guidance and encouragement from ICMP’s tutors – all successful DJs and music producers operating within the UK’s groundbreaking electronic music industry – you’ll connect with a vibrant community of artists, producers, songwriters, marketers and eventmanagers to deliver compelling performances that move a crowd.
