You will gain a solid grounding in the main elements of economic analysis, while learning about its application to public and private organisations. You will make sense of a range of important issues affecting our everyday lives and improve your decision-making skills in ways that are relevant to the discipline of Economics.As an Economics student, you’ll have access to our unique Business Lab facility. With 12 double-screen workstations, the room gives you a simulated experience of working in the fast-moving world of shares and trading. You can access sophisticated analysis tools and Bloomberg Terminal data on worldwide financial markets.Nottingham Business School enrols its economics students with The Society of Professional Economists (SPE), which is the leading organisation serving professional economists in the UK.
