Course summary
Economics is the study of how societies produce, distribute, and consume goods and services. Finance examines financial systems and how money moves around, including banks, loans and investments.This BSc Economics, Finance and Banking with Foundation Year degree equips you to be a finance professional and prepare for a job in the well-paid and fast-moving sectors of banking, finance and risk management with this. You'll learn core economic theory using real, topical data from organisations such as HSBC, Barclays, the Bank of England and the UK Government's annual budget.In your foundation year, you'll develop the knowledge you need to move on to the first year of BA (Hons) Digital Marketing. It will bridge the gap to uni, with the knowledge and academic skills you'll need to start.You can apply this knowledge during an optional paid placement year after your second or third year. Previous students have worked at places like Lloyds Bank, Santander and BMW.
