Course summary
Our Economics major encourages you to think critically about the building blocks of the discipline of economics, and enables you to understand economic events and decisions in the real world. The key aim of all Economics courses at the College is threefold. Firstly, they encourage you to think rigorously about economic theory. Secondly, they develop your quantitative skills in order to engage with the subject as it is commonly practiced. Finally, they help you to understand economic conditions in different institutional, geographic and socio-economic settings. The Economics with Politics & International Relations BSc is designed to teach you how to think critically about how the world operates, with a particular focus on governments and political institutions within them. An advanced understanding of economics will give you key insights into political decision-making and policy. Through your Economics major, you will develop quantitative skills to understand and evaluate economics events and decisions in the real world. This will be complemented by your study of political theory, the organisation of government, and international relations for your minor.More information about the course can be found at: https://www.nchlondon.ac.uk/degrees/undergraduate/economics/economics-with-politics-international-relations-bsc/
