Course summary

**Summary**Our Economics with Psychology BSc (Hons) will help you develop and apply wide-ranging analytical skills.Through your Economics major, you will develop quantitative thinking skills and study the structures which affect real-life governance decisions around the world. Your Psychology minor will complement these studies by exploring the cognitive and psychosocial areas of contemporary scientific psychology which inform how the human brain functions and how social factors influence larger economic infrastructures. This combined honours degree will give you the critical thinking and communication skills which are highly sought after in the graduate employment market, in public and private sectors such as policymaking, banking and finance and consulting.**Teaching & Learning**You will typically experience an average of 13 or more hours of high-quality contact time in each teaching week, in considerably smaller groups than are the norm for UK institutions at the undergraduate level, if you choose to study Economics as your major subject. The exact number of contact hours will depend on your choice of any optional courses.Your contact hours will include a mixture of teaching methods best suited to the subject matter and to achieve the learning outcomes for each individual course.
