Course summary

Whether you want to become a primary, secondary, or further education teacher to young adults and mature learners teacher or influence and shape education policy, it will provide you with a fantastic foundation. You'll learn from practising teachers and take an active role in important current debates on children's education. This will ease your transition into a teaching environment when you leave us.This course provides you with an excellent foundation for a career in education.It's the perfect springboard if you want to become a teacher, particularly in primary education, or if you want to influence policy in the education field.Once you've graduated successfully, you'll have the option to train as a teacher, for example through a Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) programme. At UEL, we offer PGCEs in Primary Education and a wide range of secondary subjects.
