Course summary

Our exciting programme will give you practical hands-on experience in electrochemical techniques and battery characterisation methods. You will also study theoretical modules on the fundamental principles of electrode reactions with a strong emphasis on batteries, and the electroanalytical techniques used to study electrochemical reactions and battery processes.

You'll join a department where our research is changing the world. 97% of our Chemistry research is rated world leading or internationally excellent (REF 2021).
