Course summary

In a world filled with smart devices with a global need to create green energy, our course provides a detailed insight into the computing systems and software needed to advance all technology.

A lot of the things you learn will be done in labs through both working individually and group projects. You'll study subjects such as analogue and digital electronics, circuits and systems, computing, communications and the application of electrical energy.

During your second year, you can study at either our China or Malaysia campus where you will have the opportunity to experience differing cultures. The curriculum is exactly the same as that of the UK and all teaching is in English. Your year will be spent studying core modules, and depending on the subject specialisms you have selected, appropriate optional modules.

Careers overview

Along with an accredited engineering degree you will have gained the practical and theoretical skills needed to design commercially viable products and services within the industrial design sector. Your skill set will be well suited to both small design-based consultancy roles as well as large multinational organisations. In addition, your abilities in communication, problem solving, and creative thinking will make you highly employable in several alternative roles.

Our graduates work for a diverse range of employment sectors with companies including:

  • Dyson
