This degree will train you for a career in electrical, electronic and nano-engineering positions across a wide range of sectors. As you progress, your developing analytical abilities will combine with hands-on experience of advanced specialist equipment, establishing skills which are vital to securing employment in the wider industry.Graduates of Electronic and Electrical Engineering are set on course for a range of stimulating opportunities. Your future could lie in any of the following roles: Broadcast Engineer, Control and Instrumentation Engineer, IT Consultant, Network Engineer, Systems Analyst and Multimedia Programmer. Swansea graduates in Electronic and Electrical Engineering have become senior executives of multinational companies, progressing to organisations such as the Ministry of Defence, Jaguar Land Rover and Babcock International. Many of our graduates also go on to have interesting and varied careers at companies such as, Tata Steel, Renishaw, Siemens, Babcock, Dyson, GE Power, Ericsson, MOD and Airbus. 93% of our graduates are in work or further study 6 months after graduating with their average salary being £24,000 (16/17 Graduate DLHE).
