What you will study: This course will train you to apply fundamental concepts and design software and applications for the connected world of the future. You’ll learn to apply theory to real engineering problems and technologies, combining specialist skills with scientific research methods. You’ll also study advanced topics such as C++ and object-oriented design, digital signal processing and artificial intelligence. MEng - Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Foundation yearIf you don’t meet our entry requirements, you might still be able to apply for this degree with an Engineering and Physical Sciences Foundation Year. This is an extra year of study to develop your skills and make it easier for you to get started at university. On successful completion of your foundation year, you’ll be ready to progress to the first year of your degree.
