Optional modules allow you to deepen or diversify your practice, with options such as immersive audio, post-production, composition, hardware production, and marketing and promotion. As part of a suite of interlinked music degrees, you’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with musicians, songwriters, composers, and performers on real-world projects. This year is about building confidence, technical fluency, experimenting with ideas, and learning to bring your vision to life through sound.


Year 2

In your second year, you’ll develop more advanced production and performance skills, with a strong emphasis on artistic identity and creative independence. You’ll choose from a range of optional modules to tailor your learning experience and work more independently, with increased emphasis on collaboration, creative research, and real-world application to help you prepare for your final year projects.
