You’ll learn about the creative process and compile your own portfolios of creative writing while sharing ideas with your fellow students in a vibrant community of Keele creative writers. There are opportunities to spend a semester or a whole additional year at a partner university – which could be in Europe, Australia, Canada or the USA. In the beautiful surroundings of Keele Hall, you can enjoy readings from an exciting range of published poets and novelists. You will develop a wide range of both subject-specific and transferable skills. These skills will open up a variety of exciting possible careers, whether directly related to the subject or not. You might go into publishing, journalism, teaching, advertising, or the broadcast media. Of course, you may want to pursue a career as a published writer, whether part-time or full-time.
