With entrepreneurial skills at its core, our audio production degree aims to give you the best chance of turning your passion for audio into a thriving career, with modules on professional development, industry knowledge and generating revenue through creative income streams, running through all three years of the degree course.Whether you see yourself as a sound engineer developing audio content for film, games and TV, or collaborating on tracks with other music producers and musicians, our Entrepreneurial Audio Production degree will help you achieve your aspirations through modern, relevant training delivered by our passionate, industry-active tutors.Based in Manchester, you’ll have access to a range of professional-level recording and mixing facilities at Spirit Studios, incorporating sound engineering and music production equipment only found in the most prestigious facilities, including AMS Neve, Avid, PMC and much more.
About Spirit StudiosSpanning over four decades of iconic music history in Manchester, our early days as a commercial recording studio and rehearsal space saw the likes of local legends The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Simply Red and many more passing through our doors.Spirit Studios then became the first music production and sound engineering school in the UK (formerly known as School of Sound Recording), and since then we’ve continued to nurture the next generation of producers, engineers, artists and business owners.
