Introduction
Become part of our thriving ecosystem of creators, innovators and leaders to gain the practical skills you need to become an entrepreneur. While nurturing your talent for spotting opportunities and solving problems, you'll be taught some of the most progressive methods in business by experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds.
You will:
- Develop an understanding of the practice and theory of entrepreneurship, contextualised via various theoretical lenses and practical experience
- Galvanise your team working skills, and understand what it takes to build a world-class founding team
- Learn about the various areas of business, such as finance, marketing, innovation, lean product development, strategy, project management, and see how they connect
- Understand the process of developing a start-up business from inception through to investment
What you'll learn
From identifying market opportunities to devising powerful value propositions, developing disruptive products and services to utilising strategic marketing and analytics, you’ll learn all the practical and theoretical skills to succeed as an entrepreneur. You’ll enhance your understanding of the entire business development workflow and build valuable connections and networks.
How you'll learn
The course is delivered through a blend of online and classroom experiences including lectures, seminars, workshops, guest lecturers, and guest speakers.
All classes are recorded for review later and all students are supported by a keen and knowledgeable faculty, who are available to speak to students about their programme of study, business ideas, or personal issues.
Studies align with the Falmouth University ‘doing it for real philosophy’, which means we take a hands-on approach to everything we do on the programme.
