Overview

Due to COVID-19, we are continually reviewing the delivery of our courses. Our priority is to ensure the safety of all our students and staff, and we are currently planning for flexibility and resilience in our approach so that whatever the year brings we will still be delivering the high level of teaching that we always have. You can stay updated on our website as the situation progresses.

  • You will investigate the intricate relationships between contemporary global human health and the environment.
  • You’ll explore how factors such as climate change, air pollution and microbes impact health, whilst critically analysing evidence from a range of qualitative and quantitative sources.
  • Based at the Knowledge Spa located on the Royal Cornwall Hospital Site with input from our European Centre for Environment and Human Health,? the Met Office, Age UK and the World Health Organisation
  • You may opt to undertake an internship with a Cornish business (or even further afield)
  • Upon graduation you will be well placed to move into a range of rapidly developing profession in environment and human health

Graduates of the Programme are well placed to move into a range of rapidly developing professions in environment and human health. Some examples include:

  • Health Promotion
  • Environmental Health and Protection
  • Occupational Health and workplace wellbeing
  • Social enterprises and SME businesses innovating in environment and human health

The programme also prepares you for further research and some graduates may want to go on to PhD study with the European Centre or elsewhere.
