Course summary
The foundation year of this Coventry University degree will be delivered from our CU Coventry campus. Course delivery from year 1 of the degree onwards will be from Coventry University campus.This course aims to provide you with a solid grounding in preparing you to work in the exciting and diverse global events industry, ranging from large scale music and cultural festivals, corporate events and exhibitions, to small, bespoke social events.The foundation year introduces the world of business with a sharp focus on aspects of management, business communications and marketing in a global context. The foundation year creates opportunities for you to develop key business skills and to put theory, both traditional and contemporary, into practice with real-world scenarios. Students who successfully complete their foundation year will then progress onto the Event Management BA (Hons) degree within Coventry University’s Business School.The degree part of the course aims to provide you with the opportunity to learn how to manage events and get the chance to apply theory to practice throughout your course.
