This programme provides graduates a postgraduate qualification that demonstrates expertise in a subject that will help them progress their careers, improve their prospects or change their career pathsThis programme gives students an opportunity to develop technical expertise and provides them with experience in using theoretical concepts to solve marketing problems through consultancy projects, live briefs, case studies, and marketing simulations. The programme has a strong international focus within the curriculum. Graduates can use their degrees to launch a career in marketing or as a catalyst for career change or advancement. Potential career options are marketing executive/manager, brand manager, social media analyst, marketing/brand analyst, digital marketing executive, CRM manager, and customer account executive in both profit and non-profit organisations.It is developed for graduates who wish to learn about the latest developments and practices in marketing. The programme offers students a unique learning experience at the Greenwich Maritime campus in London and the Massey campus in New Zealand.The programme advances students’ marketing skills and prepares them for the competitive challenges of the global marketplace. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of consumer behaviour, research methods, marketing strategy, and digital marketing. It aims to develop the business leaders of the future and as such, a key tenet of the programme is the development of leadership ethics, confidence and competence, allied to a future employability focus through professional career management and coaching.The philosophy of personal skills development alongside academic and experiential learning develops students who will leave with confidence in their ability to apply theory into practice, whilst developing creative ideas through working with teams in both local and international settings in identifying the key influences – both external and internal that are likely to become future drivers of organisations.
