Course summary
An academic course for keen observers to study the social, cultural, political, historical and global contexts of fashion. We interrogate history as a discipline, and explore how imperial power is implicated in the exchange and exploitation of people, labour and the environment that underpins an evolving fashion industry. BA Fashion Communication is for students who are interested in the diverse and ever-expanding field of fashion media. The fashion industry requires quality content in the form of words and image and expertise in fashion history. This course will nurture you to become innovative, informed, responsible writers, communicators and promoters, central to the industry's future.Three years full-time or four years full-time with Diploma in Professional Studies
