Rural land management is changing, with the removal of the Basic Payment Scheme and a heightened focus on the environment, the pressure is on land owners to evolve with a particular focus on sustainability. In a changing landscape, there is a real need for qualified professionals with a specialism in agricultural land management who can provide robust advice to land owners to help them to diversify, but also increase production in a way which compliments biodiversity and conservation.

This course is designed to bring together knowledge about rural land management, considering ecology, biodiversity and the environment alongside. A Strong and diverse range of topics and integrated work experience ensure that graduates are well equipped to progress into careers such as rural land management and farm advice.
