This course provides the perfect blend of learning. We’ll build your business and finance knowledge through real-world scenarios focusing on accountancy, financial modelling and economics, while underpinning this with a sound mathematics base in statistics, algebra and calculus.It’s not only about learning the theory – it’s about the application too – and lots of it. There are plenty of opportunities for you to get hands-on in our cutting-edge facilities to try out your ideas.Your final-year modules reflect the expertise and research of our staff, making sure you are learning the most current and relevant information. This course is also accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, which is a seal of approval from the professional body and will help you on your way to Chartered Mathematician status. Join our Mathematics Society, and you’ll have the opportunity to take part in regular events hosted on campus by the local branch of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. We offer Mathematics Undergraduate Research Scholarships (MURS) - funding a short research placement. It's an opportunity to further your research interests and contribute to the department.
