**Course Overview**- Aiming for a senior role in a specialist fire safety company? Fire Safety and Risk Management develops your knowledge of design and management solutions that reduce fire risk.- Our specialist degree has been developed in response to reforms in fire safety law. These now emphasise the consideration of fire risk during the design, construction and occupation of a building.- You’ll develop your knowledge of integrated design and management solutions aimed at reducing fire risk. You’ll know how to ensure that appropriate active, passive and fire safety management systems are in place to protect people, property and the environment if a fire does occur.- You’ll have access to new, purpose-built fire laboratories.
