French and Francophone Studies at Nottingham offers you this and much more.You can take modules in:- translation and interpreting- linguistics- art, theatre and photography- cinema- history and culture- politics- literature from around the Francophone worldLive the life and culture of France or a French speaking country for yourself in year three. This exciting experience develops your communication skills, builds your confidence and helps you stand out to future employers. You can teach English in a School or work anywhere in the Francophone world. Or you can study at one of our partner universities, including Guadeloupe, La Reunion and Paris. We also have a dedicated French-speaking year abroad officer.Other ways to study French:This course is also available with a Foundation Year. You may also combine French with English, Philosophy, International Media and Communication Studies, Contemporary Chinese Studies or History in our joint honours programme, or study alongside multiple disciplines in our BA Liberal Arts. French is also an option in Modern Languages, Modern Language Studies, Modern Languages with Business, Modern Languages with Translation, and Modern European Studies.
