BA (Hons) Games Design with Professional Practice Year is a four-year degree programme, in year three you undertake a placement within the creative industries to further develop your skills and CV.Build the world. Design the game. Lead the play.Every great game build starts with a designer who understands how players think, move, and feel. Someone who can shape a world, build its rules, and make every moment of interaction count. This course turns your ideas into playable, compelling experiences.At UCA Farnham, you'll learn games design the way the industry actually works: collaboratively, iteratively, and inside a real studio environment. You'll prototype mechanics, design levels, build systems, and you’ll playtest relentlessly – working alongside developers and artists from day one.You'll graduate with much more than a portfolio. You'll have the instincts, the technical range, and the credits to walk into a studio and contribute from day one. Whether you’re a natural level designer, systems pro, storywriter, or player behaviouralist – this is where you'll find your specialism and make it razor sharp.
