German/Italian (4 years) BA (Hons)

This joint honours language course will allow you to study two languages in equal proportions. It will give you advanced skills in both languages and a broad range of specialised and detailed insights into the culture, society and history of the countries in which these languages are spoken. The German and Italian course has language at the heart of it, with core modules developing the key oral, aural and written skills every year. These modules also foster cultural awareness, which you will need for your year abroad, and later on, for the world of work. You are able to study one of the languages from begineer level.
