We all interact with graphics and interactive multimedia every day. Graphic design is more than logos, branding and advertising. It’s also everything from mobile apps, websites and e-commerce to interactive games.

This FdA course will teach you about graphic design and emerging digital technology.

Who is it for?

If you are interested in design for print, interactive media, contemporary design or arts then this course could be for you.

You need to be excited by experimenting and exploring print based outcomes and digital media, as well as having an enthusiasm for well-crafted typography.

Future career and study opportunities

Upon completion of this course students will be prepared for employment within relevant industries e.g. graphic design, advertising, packaging design and development, internet design and motion graphics.

Successful completion of the Foundation Degree is broadly equivalent to two years undergraduate study. Students completing the FdA may progress on to the final year of BA (Hons) Graphic Communication with Typography at the University of Plymouth or apply to a local University of their choice.
