Gweithgarwch Corfforol, Iechyd a Lles Dwyieithog BSc (Hons)

Mae'r cwrs hwn yn canolbwyntio ar roi'r cyfle i chi ddatblygu eich dealltwriaeth academaidd ac ymarferol o weithgarwch corfforol, iechyd a lles trwy gyfrwng dwy iaith. Er y darperir rhywfaint o'r cwrs hwn trwy gyfrwng y Saesneg, bydd y rhan fwyaf o'r cwrs ar gael drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg. Mae'n rhoi'r cyfle i fyfyrwyr Cymraeg eu hiaith ddiwallu'r galw cynyddol am raddedigion sydd â gallu a chymwysterau dwyieithog.O ran cynnwys, mae'r cwrs yn cynnig cyfle i chi ddeall ac archwilio gweithgarwch corfforol, iechyd a lles o safbwynt sawl disgyblaeth. Er enghraifft, bydd cyfle i chi ddatblygu eich gwybodaeth am lythrennedd iechyd a lles, materion sy'n gysylltiedig ag addysg gorfforol, iechyd a lles, ymarfer corff a maeth, ac agweddau ymarferol a theoretig o ymarfer proffesiynol.Er bod y cwrs yn cynnig ystod eang o bynciau a disgyblaethau, mae'r cwricwlwm yn rhoi cyfle i chi ganolbwyntio ac arbenigo wrth gamu drwy dair blynedd o astudio academaidd. Yn ogystal â'r fframwaith academaidd theoretig ac ymarferol cynhwysfawr, cewch eich annog i adeiladu portffolio o gymwysterau hyfforddi ac i gael profiadau mewn lleoliadau gwaith yn ystod eich cyfnod yn y Brifysgol. Mae Met Caerdydd yn cynnig cyfleoedd ar y campws i chi ymgysylltu â Chwaraeon Caerdydd sydd â chysylltiadau ardderchog ag ysgolion yn y cyffiniau ac awdurdodau lleol.Mae Met Caerdydd hefyd yn cynnig blwyddyn sylfaen ar gyfer yr sawl sydd yn dyheu am gofrestru ar radd anrhydedd chwaraeon ac sydd heb y cymwysterau angenrheidiol sydd eu hangen i ddechrau Blwyddyn 1. Cynhelir y Flwyddyn Sylfaen ar Gampws Llandaf, yn yr Ysgol Reoli, gyda gweddill y cwsr yn cael ei gynnal ar Gampws Cyncoed yn yr Ysgol Chwaraeon a Gwyddorau Iechyd.This course focuses on giving you an opportunity to develop your academic and practical understanding of physical activity, health and well-being through two languages. Although some of the course provision is through the medium of English, the majority is delivered through the medium of Welsh. It gives Welsh-speaking students an opportunity to develop bilingual skills and satisfy the increasing demand for skilled bilingual graduates.In terms of content, the course offers an opportunity to understand and explore physical activity, health and well-being from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. For example, you will have an opportunity to develop your knowledge of health literacy and well-being, issues associated with physical education, health and well-being, exercise nutrition, and the practical and theoretical aspects of professional practice. Although the course offers a wide range of subjects and disciplines, the curriculum allows you to focus and specialise as you progress over three years of academic study. In addition to the comprehensive theoretical and practical academic framework, you are encouraged to build a portfolio of coaching qualifications and to have work placement experiences during your period at the University. Cardiff Met offers on-campus and off-campus opportunities for you to connect with Sport Cardiff who have excellent links with local schools and authorities. Cardiff Met also offers a foundation year for those who aspire to enrol on a Sport based honours degree, who do not have the requirements to start at Year 1. The foundation year will run at the Llandaff campus within the School of Management, and the subsequent years will be based at the Cyncoed campus within the School of Sport and Health Sciences
