The Beauty industry is one of the fastest growing sectors within the UK with a vast amount of employment opportunities available. The OCN NI Level 5 Extended Diploma in Hair and Beauty Management (Beauty pathway) provides a recognised qualification offering career progression and professional development for those already in employment in the Beauty sector who wish to progress to management positions, or onto further higher education in a related area.

The Beauty pathway of this programme provides learners with the opportunity to advance their knowledge and practical skills by undertaking specialist units taught by highly experienced staff in our fully equipped beauty and spa facility. You will gain insight into anatomy and physiology studying a range of Spa Therapies including Reflexology, Thermal Massage and Eyebrow artistry, alongside developing your managerial skills, to give you the confidence to progress your career to the next level.

This course has been developed in line with the most up-to-date industry requirements and the qualification will provide the learner with a solid foundation to develop their career in salon and spa management.

Career Prospects

There are many local, national, and international career opportunities open to the qualified beauty therapist including work in salons, beauty retail outlets, hotels, health farms, cruise liners and spas.

On completion of this Level 5 qualification, management opportunities exist within salons and spas, you may decide to start your own business, or wish to work within the education sector.
