Course summary
Our BSc Health and Social Care and Management has been designed to bring together the very best of this interdisciplinary area as well as providing you with a solid grounding in management skills. It is ideal if you are interested in management and leadership within the healthcare sector.

This course will equip you with a strong foundation in:- the national and international context of health and social care- the inequalities that shape changing needs- the policies that respond to them.This course is also run in collaboration with our Business School to offer you specific modules in accounting and management studies, so you gain the skills that are in demand by employers.
How you will learnThe course is mainly taught in small-group workshops, seminars and tutorials, and is supported by rich online materials and resources you can access whenever you need.You can choose
classes taking place in the daytime or eveningfor most compulsory modules on this course. Some option modules may only be offered in the evening.
Foundation YearIf you opt for the Foundation Year route, this will fully prepare you for undergraduate study. It is ideal if you are returning to study after a gap, or if you have not previously studied the relevant subjects, or if you didn't achieve the grades you need for a place on your chosen undergraduate degree
