Our department hosts the City Health Economics Centre (CHEC) and the London Health Economics Group (LHEG). Your studies will benefit from the output of both.

Who is this course for?
If you are committed to finding a rewarding career as a health economist, this MSc programme can put you on the best track. It is designed for those with a background in economics who wish to specialise, but we also offer provision if you are new to economics.
Teaching and assessment
You will learn through a series of lectures that are made available online, as well as seminars and interactive group work.
Lectures introduce key theories, concepts and knowledge, which is then discussed in seminar groups.
You will learn from research-active academic staff and graduate teaching assistants. We also invite specialist speakers from industry to deliver lectures and seminars in the field of health economics.
Career
This Health Economics MSc prepares you for a range of careers in areas such as economic consultancies, think-tanks, the pharmaceutical industry and governmental and non-governmental bodies.
You can also progress to explore teaching and research positions at academic institutions.
