HND Coaching & Developing Sport

Please note that due to COVID-19, this course will initially be delivered via a blended learning approach, which may include face-to-face learning in the classroom, remote learning off-campus and digital learning. When delivery is taking place on-campus, there will be reduced student numbers and physical distancing measures in place.

This is a well established and popular course designed to provide a foundation for anyone wishing to enter the field of sports coaching and sports development. The course is designed to prepare students for entry into employment within the sports coaching & Sports development industry or onto Further study at university.

The College has close links with local councils and voluntary based sporting organisations throughout Forth Valley and many students complete their coaching placement hours within these organisations.

• Sports and leisure facilities management

Progression

On successful completion of this HND course students may progress onto a related degree programme.
