Human Resource Management (Postgraduate Diploma)

Directly aligned to the CIPD’s knowledge requirements, the PGDip in Human Resource Management offers you the opportunity to build your network. You will be studying as part of a community of students with a rich mix of professional experiences which will enhance your awareness.

The programmes are designed to develop your strategic thinking skills as you deepen your understanding of how human resource management creates competitive advantage for organisations.

As a student, you will study alongside part-time students who are also practitioners; this creates a rich learning community, where professional experiences can be shared and discussed. The course places a strong emphasis on active learning and business application to complement theory.

You will have the opportunity to attend an employment tribunal or other HR related events; you will also be required to attend on-campus CIPD events to enhance your knowledge and expand your professional network.

The Postgraduate Diploma Human Resource Management follows a part-time curriculum designed to offer flexibility for those studying, while working. Based in our new, purpose-built Business School at our Oxstalls Campus, Gloucester, our postgraduate students develop themselves professionally, build their connections and enhance their knowledge and skills on our range of flexible courses, many of which are accredited by industry bodies. Careers

Advance your career within Human Resource Management or Human Resource Development by working towards senior manager and director level positions. Successful completion of the MSc Human Resource Management and Postgraduate Diploma offers Associate membership of the CIPD and provides the basis to work towards CIPD Chartered Member status.
