Course summary
This unique and innovative course has been developed by the Hertfordshire Business School and School of Computer Science, along with The Tech Partnership and more than 90 of the UK’s largest organisations. It was created to meet industry needs and ensure that tomorrow’s IT managers have important technology, business, project management, personal and interpersonal skills. You’ll benefit from direct industry expertise, with leading IT professionals giving guest lectures and supporting projects that tackle real business problems. Hertfordshire’s BSc ITMB is aimed at students who want to a career in the management of IT systems, including software, hardware and web-based systems. This spans everything from identifying the need for an IT system through to the design, development, integration and operation of an effective solution.
It’s a degree that will launch your career as an IT specialist, whether you work in the technology sector, or any other organisation needing in-house IT expertise.
Our ITMB graduates go into a huge range of roles, including project manager, product manager, business analyst, product owner, IT functional analyst, QA/test analyst and IT support expert. Alternatively, you could study at postgraduate level or set up your own company.
