Course summary
Gain a rigorous foundation in:
- the application and critical evaluation of management accounting
- the regulation and content of International Accounting Standards.
You’ll study issues in financial reporting to equip you with the technical skills to prepare financial statements as well as a framework for understanding and evaluating the role of accounting regulation. The course will give you a broad global business perspective covering both emerging and developed economies. You also develop the managerial and technical analytical skills required by employers in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
You benefit from studying the unique combination of International Accounting Standards together with corporate governance. This will improve your career prospects in management consultancy as well as large international financial bodies. You’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge through a range of options.
