You’ll study your International Business and Finance degree at the world-renowned Leeds University Business School. This degree is accredited by the Institute of Export and International Trade and will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the core elements and practices of international business, together with a thorough grounding in practical knowledge of accounting and finance. Through compulsory modules you’ll develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand and manage complex organisations across national borders, especially in international trade and foreign direct investment, alongside the core principles of finance. If you're interested in exploring a career in portfolio management, you’ll have access to our two state-of-the-art trading rooms, helping you develop practical skills for your career. You’ll have the chance to gain certification by taking part in a Bloomberg Core Concepts training course in your first year. In your final year, you'll gain essential practice for your career in the interactive International Strategic Management module, where you’ll put your learning into practice and make strategic decisions while taking part in live business simulations. Develop important research and analytical skills and apply these in your final year to a year-long project on an international business topic of your choice.
