Why International Business (Top-up)? Business is becoming truly global. This one-year top-up course is designed to help you understand the global factors driving business today. You will explore international business and the cultural differences and diversities that it has to offer. This top-up degree course is designed to help you build a greater understanding of how the commercial world operates and help give you an in-depth exploration of issues affecting business with focus on the international market. How will you learn? You will learn through practical application and delivered lectures, workshops, seminars and group work sessions. * You'll have the opportunity to develop your understanding of international business and explore the cultural differences and diversities that it has to offer. * During your studies we’ll focus on international business, strategic management, business responsibility and sustainability to help give you an understanding that can be applied in any sector or industry. What subjects will you cover? As your studies progress you’ll be able to choose from a wide range of optional modules, such as Direct and Digital Marketing - through to Environmental Policy and Advanced Operations Management where you’ll study operations and processes management as well as gain an understanding of the nature of improvement implementations in organisations. For a business to be successful all the different functions need to operate effectively in conjunction with each other. By studying strategy you will develop the skills and knowledge to be a business leader of the future. In addition to your core modules you will be able to select options to gain a deeper insight into specialist subjects that interest you. Due to the wide range of subjects studied on the course you will have lots of different career opportunities upon graduation. Former International Business students have become sales executives, account managers, project managers, banking executives, and insurance professionals to name to just a few.
